Accreditations
Institute of IT Training
BSG has been awarded accreditation from the Institute of IT Training in recognition of the company's key role in raising standards in IT training, helping to ensure that IT remains a highly skilled industry in the UK.
The Institute of IT Training, launched in 1995, exists to continuously raise standards of professionalism within the training industry. Through an unrivalled range of membership, certification, accreditation and bespoke consultancy services,the Institute focuses on enhancing and recognising the skills and professional status of individuals and organisations engaged in training activities, and assessing the quality of training services.
ISO27001, Information Security Management System
BSG holds the ISO27001:2005, Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification for its activities including, and associated with, the provision of data centre hosting facilities, management of data operations and the provision of its managed services including remote management services, support and maintenance of IT systems and application software and the design, deployment and operation of IT and networking solutions.
The most widely recognised security standard accreditation in the world has been awarded to BSG for its data centre and managed hosting operations, which form the backbone of its outsourcing services.
ISO27001 replaces the replaces the BS7799 accreditation and is the requirements specification that will enable businesses and organisations throughout the world to develop a best-in-class ISMS.
ISO27001 comprises 10 detailed control disciplines including, information security policy, security organisation, asset classification controls, personnel security, physical security, communication management, access controls, system deployment, continuity planning and compliance. These disciplines demonstrate BSG ability and commitment to delivering the highest quality of managed security services to customers, and its ability to guarantee the highest levels of assurance to individuals and organisations using or relying upon its services.

ISO 9001
BSG is ISO 9001 accredited. BSG is committed to managing projects via the highest quality standards in order to minimise risks and ensure delivery on time. The ISO 9001 accreditation is a measure of this commitment.
